National Archives Screens New Documentary, “Uniquely Nasty: The U.S. Government’s War on Gays”

On Friday, October 2, at 7 p.m., the National Archives presents a special documentary screening of “Uniquely Nasty: The U.S. Government’s War on Gays.” Using records found in the National Archives’ holdings, the documentary explores the not-so-distant past when gays and lesbians were considered “unsuitable” for Federal employment. This program is presented in partnership with Stonewall@NARA, the National Archives LGBTQ employee affinity group.
